Margaret Wolfson is the author of four illustrated books and co-author of two books. Books include Marriage of the Rain Goddess, translated into Swedish, Danish, and Korean (Barefoot Books); The Patient Stone (Barefoot Books); The Turtle Tattoo (Hay House); and Turtle Songs (Beyond Words). She is also co-author The Bronfman Haggadah (Rizzoli).
Margaret has published in various journals, most recently Poets & Writers, and has received grants from numerous organizations, among them Poets and Writers, the New York State Council on the Arts, The Boone Family Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Recognitions include a United Kingdom Reading Association Award for Marriage of the Rain Goddess and a Pushcart Editor’s Choice nomination by Jonathan Galassi, President and Publisher of Farrar, Straus, and Giroux for her manuscript, Mother of Beauty.
